Our Story

“As working parents of young kids, we believed that there must be a better way to cut the commute and ease the daily juggle!
We were sick of running the gauntlet of buses and backseats, constantly rushing back and forth between lives, having to leave one early but still arriving late at the next. The constant stress of balancing professional and family needs was taking its toll and we were fed up with missing out.
And our friends felt the same. Even taking kids out of the equation we all asked; where’s the balance?
So we designed WRAP, a place where all the family can Work, Rest And Play.
A place where hybrid working feels great, where your children can enjoy on-site childcare, where the coffee flows and the vibe is home-from-home.
Just the way we like it, and all less than a minute’s walk from Brighton Station.”

    A growing Sustainability Hub

What started as a desire to minimise our environmental impact, has evolved into a growing momentum where WRAP is now home to a flourishing community of incredible people and organisations working towards a better future.

Through 1% initiatives, event collaborations, community projects and our pledge to Better Business, we are committed to being a bold platform for positive change.

    Charity Partnership

WRAP offers a 20% discount on all memberships and meeting room bookings to charities and non-profit organisations. We also provide our space in kind, when possible, for charity events or panel talks. Some charities we are proud to have supported are:

Sussex Bay, Emerging Futures, Gaydio, Marine Conservation Society, Breadwinners, All Sorts Youth, Baton of Hope

    1% For People & Planet

We are proud to announce that going forward, WRAP Space will be donating 1% of revenue to Sussex Bay to support their incredible conservation efforts across our coastline. The income will be shared initially with The Sussex Dolphin Project, to help fund a dedicated research vessel, which will enable much more valuable scientific research of the Sussex Bay marine environment.

We also donate 1% to BrightPip, an incredible local charity offering vital therapeutic support to parents and babies during the earliest, and often most emotionally challenging, stage of life.

    Raising The Next Generation

Our nursery is a truly unique setting. We believe that children are born explorers and have natural curiosity so we provide plenty of opportunities for children to problem-solve, experiment and learn about the world around them.

We trust that children learn best through play and hands-on experiences so encourage imagination through role play and take daily trips into our community which helps our children develop strong social skills and learn all aspects of living in our diverse society.

    A Caring Team

We’ve heard it countless times: modern life can be stressful! And when you add commute fatigue, toddler tantrums, coffee spills, and that 9.30 am meeting you completely forgot about; let’s just say…aargh!!!

Our team knows this all too well, that’s why we approach our customer service with the utmost care, rigour and empathy. All wrapped together (pun intended) by a friendly, can-do attitude!

Testimonials

Woman sitting at a wooden table, smiling at a white MacBook, with framed artwork on the wall behind her.

“I’ve been a WRAP Resident for 4 years now and would highly recommend it. The space itself is beautiful; the interiors are thoughtfully designed, and the meeting rooms are perfect for hosting clients or collaborating with colleagues. The location is ideal too.

The little touches make all the difference too. There’s always good coffee on hand, plus fresh fruit and biscuits, and on Wednesday mornings there’s even cake!

The team here at WRAP are great. They’re friendly, approachable, and always willing to help, and it’s reassuring to know there’s always someone around if you need anything. The whole place is kept clean and well-maintained, which adds to the sense of care and attention that runs through everything here.

If you’re looking for a coworking space that’s not only functional but also welcoming and beautifully designed, WRAP is hard to beat.“

“I've been using both the Wrap office space and Nursery for over 3 years now and I love it. I tried loads of other office spaces before here and, in most places, I felt like I was just getting a desk and internet access. But at Wrap, you feel like you're part of a nice little community. They provide so much extra stuff, like free events (e.g. wine-tasting evenings), networking, free teas & coffees, fruit bowls and biscuits, regular breakfast mornings and more - just loads of nice little touches that make you feel like they really value you.

The Wrap team is so approachable and helpful, and the space itself is perfect too - everything is super-clean, there are loads of meeting rooms and two working kitchens for you to cook and store food if you need to. There's also a lovely terrace on the top floor with a beautiful view of the city, great for summer lunch-breaks in the sun.

I became a Dad two years ago and I didn't hesitate to book my kid into the WRAP nursery downstairs. It's been so handy having my office and nursery in the same building, my kid loves it and all the staff are so lovely. We couldn't be happier!”

Celebrating 5 Years

WRAP opened in 2021 with one mission: creating a space that facilitated balance between work and life.

Over the years our community has grown into a wonderfully diverse collective, and we’ve evolved side by side with it.

“Decisions that affect all of us are not made in a boardroom hundreds of miles away, they are made by the people who will see the impact of those decisions almost immediately…”
