Meet the Members: Eva Woode
One of our first members, Eva has been with us since September 2021 and is the mind behind Edify Content Studio. Let’s find out what she’s up to!
Tell us about you and what you do!
Combining my qualifications in design engineering and curating with previous marketing roles for manufacturers across the UK and Sweden, I set up Edify Content Studio in 2017.
We’re a small studio specialised in researching, writing and developing great content for the interior design, architecture and construction industry.
Tell us about your team - your people, your working style, and anything else!
We combine our interest in the built environment with technical knowledge and marketing expertise - we get excited by creating content that specifiers find engaging, educational and inspiring.
As well as day-to-day studio life, I regularly moderate talks and curate exhibitions on sustainability and wellbeing in architecture, and also volunteer for the British Institute of Interior Design.

What’s your favourite spot in the building to have a break?
First floor kitchen, I love the fabric on the banquettes.
Are you working on any personal projects?
My two children take up most of my spare time! I like to spend time immersed in nature and am gradually turning my backyard into an outdoor oasis.
Any tips for someone starting out on a business venture in your industry?
Stick to what you’re good at and don’t try to be everything to everyone. It’s tempting to say yes to any business opportunities in the early days, but it won’t be right for you in the long-term.
Here at Edify, we focus on creating well-researched and useful content. Our clients know that we do this well, and we therefore receive a fair amount of word-of-mouth recommendation because of our specialism.
