Meet the Parents: Hannah from CBF Design

One of our core values here at WRAP is making life easier for parents. Our lovely on-site nursery takes children from 6 months old, so parents can come back to work quickly, safe in the knowledge that their children are just downstairs. It’s so simple!

We chatted with Hannah, whose daughter Eden has been in the nursery since she was 6 months old - the earliest we can take children on in the nursery. Hannah is a fashion and graphics designer who found WRAP at exactly the right time!

“The fact Eden could be in the same building as my office was an absolute no brainer”

Hi Hannah! Tell us about your Family!

In our little family there is just myself, my husband and Eden - like most people in Brighton we moved here a while ago and never left!! He’s a graffiti artist and project manager, I’m a fashion and graphics designer and we have been together for 17 years before deciding it was time to have a baby. Eden is now 9 months old and it has been the most amazing adventure already. She has been at WRAP nursery since she was 6 months.

What made you and your husband choose the WRAP Nursery?

Luckily we were looking for a new office space as I fell pregnant, and whilst working out how we were going to manage everything WRAP appeared, as if by magic to answer all my concerns and questions! I always knew I would be returning to work quite quickly and that we would need to be in town, so the fact Eden could be in the same building as my office was an absolute no brainer, especially as she was so little and I was nervous about leaving her.

What are your top 3 favourite things about the nursery?

  1. I love the convenience of how quickly I can get to her if she needs something - and that I get that extra time with her before and after work.

  2. I really like the staff, they are super warm and friendly, I wasn’t worried about them caring for her. They have also been so helpful and patient with a few things that have been tricky for us (sleep and bottle feeds).

  3. That each week there are new and fun activities planned for the children all centred around their development. We have really noticed Eden’s development go from strength to strength since starting nursery.

What are Eden’s favourite things to do at nursery?

She loves all the toys and interactive play, especially the ball pit and anything musical. I can tell she really loves her key workers too which means a lot and is lovely to see.

Has anything surprised you about the nursery?

The variety of activities that they do with the children, things I would never have thought of and Eden seems to love!

Last thing - what advice would you give to new parents in Brighton?

When you are in town, Wrap Cafe is a little haven in the chaotic city for parents and babies/kids, and the library is another great spot for a feed and a change when needed.

Thank you Hannah!
